The Proposed Timeline for EMPLOYEE's

I decided to create a timeline of important events that happened in the world of EMPLOYEE, from the beginning of time to the latest event related to the current 2023’s #dungeon23 which I changed it to #Office23, which also being postponed since last March (sorry about that).

This timeline is based and inspired by three ultra-short play-tests that I did with my friends at the office during our free time. They only cover 20% of the timeline. The other 80% is based on my own imagination and the foundations that I set for #Office23. You can treat this timeline as canon or not - it’s up to you.

0 A.C.	The First documented Clash of the Moons on Nüearth - Helen & Romeo. The moons stucks for 5 years before they finally separated. Sea level's disturbed, causing many continental drifts, sinks and emerges.
Circa 600 A.C.	The Solomon - a group of geniuses from various school of knowledge - was formed and leads Nüearth to its Age of Wisdom.
Circa 800 A.C.	The University of Nüearth was established. The first university on Nüearth that produced many brilliant inventor, fearless leaders, and breakthrough scientists.
Circa 1200 A.C.	The Brain Wars happen. Casualties were both being a collateral damage or as a experimental objects. The war last almost for 49 years.
1253 A.C.	Ministry of Public Safety established.
	Ministry of Science established.
	Ministry of Scientific Policy established
	Federal Magistrate of Nüearth established.
Circa 1300 A.C.	Heervith University was established.
1593 A.C.	Andrianus Gunarha and his colleagues successfully conducted a human cloning attempt.
	Codename "Lima" was born at the Laboratorium of Heervith.
Circa 1600 A.C.	Andrianus Gunarha start his personal experiments regarding the Soul-Splitting.
	The disappearance of "Lima".
	Dr. Mellisa "Fox" Mentare successfully inventing the auto-regeneration drugs called "The Afterlife" or FX-30.
1700s - 1800s A.C.	The Brain Wars 2 erupted.
	Col. Xanders is the first human subject that took FX-30 under the surveillance of Dr. Mellisa.
	FX-30 become a standardized ration for the infantries during the war.
	Nüearth was divided into three nations: Utara Nations, Great Lands of Marsupi, and United Nations of Morotan.
	The great riot happened on Federal Magistrate of Nüearth, killing all the Chairman except one - Vivian Keys.
	The Ministry of Defense was established under command of Vivian Keys and new selected members of Federal Magistrate of Nüearth.
	Andrianus Gunarha was missing, considerable killed during the war.
1859 A.C.	Dr. Mellisa was found dead near Univeristy of Nüearth.
	FX-30 took it's first victim - a Brain Wars 2 veteran.
1925 A.C.	"The Night of Fox Die" happen. Killing almost half of the populations of Nüearth. Mainly war veterans.
	The Afterlife or FX-30 was banned.
	Andrianus' human cloning machine and soul-splitting device was stolen.
1960s A.C.	The Whitelands are emerging from the seas of Nüearth due to its temprature decreases.
	Maurice Bartie Jr., took 3 years to explore all continents on Nüearth.
	The Age of Exploration begin.
1979 A.C.	Neil Handstrong, Buzz Alderon and Michael Callin are the first men that walked on the surface of Helen.
1985 A.C.	Nüearth Re was established.
Circa 1989 A.C.	Andrianus Gunarha joined Oasis Pharmaceutical as researcher.
1991 A.C.	Andrianus Gunarha successfully cloned himself in his secret bunker on Utara Nation and named her "Sarah Aura Dunning". He also successfully soul splitting himself to Sarah Dunning.
	Baby Sarah was dropped infront of Mother Helen's Orphanage House.
Circa Mid 1993 A.C.	The Night of Rogue Robots Massacre is happened inside Oasis Pharmaceutical. According to press, there are no survivor from this disastrous event.
	Andrianus Gunarha survived the massacre. He injecting a virus into the main server of Oasis, waiting for all to happen, removing the database of OASIS and leave.
Circa 1994 A.C.	Andrianus Gunarha joined Nüearth Re.
	Andrianus Gunarha starting his new secret experiment inside an unused room inside Nüearth Re.
Circa late 1994 A.C.	A huge explosion on Nüearth Re happen at weekend. While having no casualties, but the building are need heavy renovation and rebuilding.
	Ministry of Defense treats the explosion as the probability of terrorist attack.
	Andrianus Gunarha silently piggybacking the renovation to creating his own secret laboratorium under the building.
1996 A.C.	Andrianus Gunarha successfully done his last experiment - a humanoid with the capabilities to regenerate itself. The humanoid codenamed "Ares" was kept dormant.
Mid 1999 A.C.	The Solomon's Right - an idealistic extremist group of scientist contacted Andrianus. He joined them short after.
January 1st 2000 A.C.	The Solomon's Right's first act of evil commence : mass hoax regarding the end of the world, while sending time-released toxic gas in a form of a canned foods to a small undeveloped country on each nations. High casualties and drove panics to everyone on Nüearth.
	The Night of Y2K happened.
January 2nd 2000 A.C.	The Ministry of Defense conducting an investigation regarding the recent terrorist attack, but unable to pin point the cause and the one behind it.
	The Solomon's Right decided to lay low.
	Andrianus Gunarha faked his death on the terrorist attack. And deciding to lay low. He no longer listed as employee on Nüearth Re.
Circa 2008 A.C.	An infiltration-suicide mission of a member of Solomon's Right to Nüearth Re, in order to waking up "Ares" from his deep slumber.
	A fire broken in Nüearth Re, which followed by explosion from underneath the building. Happening in broad daylight, employees and people surrounding assumed it as a terrorist attack.
	Federal Magistrate of Nüearth is announcing a super soldier program, under the surveillance of Ministry of Defense.
	The Research of FX-31 started.
2010's A.C.	Scientiest from University of Nüearth predicting that Helen & Romeo will in clash again in 12 years.
	The Solomon's Right start to mass-producing Andrianus' Ares in several secret laboratories, under Andrianus' supervision.
Circa Mid 2016 C.A.	Sarah Aura Dunning joining Nüearth Re.
2022 A.C.	Day 1 - The Game Start
December 31st 2022 A.C.	The Clash of the Moon 2
January 4th 2023 A.C.	MegaEarthquake across the Nüearth, creating fissure at three nations. Estimated millions of casualties and financial loss happens in five minutes duration.
January 5th 2023 A.C.	Office23 mysteriously erected on the middle of the chasm that split Utara Nation's Business District into two.
February 10th 2023 A.C.	A cleanse team of twelve lead by Colonel Yoosuf "Shields" Syndock entered Office23 by the order of the Utara Nation's Ministry of Defense.
March 8th 2023 A.C.	Shields trying to escape the megaoffice of Office23.
	All researchers and Tactical Teams of Shields were dead.
	ARES-21 was released to hunt Shields and eventually killed him.
	Mysterious figure "Lima" try to prolong his decay and evacuate Shields through the megaoffice.
March 12th 2023 A.C.	Colonel Yoosuf "Shields" Syndock was found dead outside the Office23.

These are several documents that players might find in EMPLOYEE when they play or are assigned by the Referee as Human Resources staff as their initial job. Even though the files at Human Resources are strictly confidential even for a new recruit in HR itself, let's assume that the players granted the access for the majority of these files. Some are locked and encrypted, which means they need the authorization of their supervisors to open this kind of files. Or they could try to decrypt by themselves, but with heavy consequences if they failed.

Rummaging the existing folders inside the computer assigned for them at their desk, players could find these files. Some might be well hidden, while some are open in plain sight. Some are locked and encrypted, some are freely open files.

There's a lot of types of files inside the computer, from the number-filled large sized spreadsheets to a tiny sized low resolution file of image.

[employment records - (month) 20XX]

A spreadsheet filled with names, date of births, employee ids, job positions and any other relevant data regarding the employee's personal and working information. Some rows of cells are highlighted green while some are colored with red. Some other sheets are listed alongside the DATA sheet, which includes TURNOVER, CERTIFICATION, CONTRACTS and PLANNING. Another sheet titled 4ROOM is present but by having a padlock next to it, it is inaccessible. Players could find pretty well documented and organized files of employee records from 1985 to present day.

[technical competency_(division)_upd20XX]

Another spreadsheet files that are filled with numbers, names and level of competencies for each name listed. Several files are listed with different names of division and different years regarding when the updates had occurred. On the list of names, some names can be found highlighted with red color, some are yellow, some are green.

[employee contract - (name) - (period)]

In the not so hidden folder, there are files filled with contracts wording for every employee existing, both those still working and those who already left the office due to resignation or death. Old data from the old days are stored as document scanlations, while the newer and latest ones are already in digital portable document format.

[durahan.exe]

This file truly is a virus application. It dates circa 1990s when the office starts to implement computers and servers as standard peripherals. If the players run the program, a notification will pop up on their screen, noticing that this file is already scanned and flagged as a virus program and already stored in the antivirus vault.

A scanlations of a document requesting Office’s IT team to solve and prevent further effect of Durahan.exe. The file was dated 10 March 1991.

Regarding the situation that been happening in ██████ involving the mass corrupted data, ransom files and the possibilities of data leaking that might been used irresponsibly by other party that might not affiliated by ██████, we asking for IT team to conduct a deep and thorough investigation, analysis and actions regarding the infections of Durahan.

As additional information, Durahan virus was initially engaged and run by one of our employees while accessing ██████’s server. The virus was mimicking one of his files. As per this letter, there are eight divisions of fourteen that report the infection of Durahan already infiltrating their dedicated division folder inside the server.

We are looking forward to this being solved immediately.

Files under this name are mainly filled with customized data that is provided by Human Resources Staffs by the request of other divisions. Usually it is filled with either the data of employee’s demography, training history, cross-table spreadsheets, list of names, list of vacant positions, presentations or the list of employee’s birthday.

[4ROOM - (month) - (year)]

This file is heavily encrypted and well hidden. Players that took time to dig up the folders one-by-one, especially on their supervisor’s folder, might find one of these (with the risk of being caught-up of course). When the player successfully decrypts the file, it contains a detailed list of names that are currently being a member of the “Fouroom”, from the date they joining, what Fouroom that they join in, their position inside the Fouroom, what are they contributing to their Fouroom and so much more.

a text file. The file was created circa mid 1995 and well hidden inside a folder within a folder at Human Resource's server. The file hasn't been opened since it's last saved which also the day it created. It remains a mystery who wrote the note in the first time.

“I hope no one read this file before I was gone. No one understands me anymore. All of them called me crazy, but I’m not. Everything I said, they’ll just let it slide away. I’ve tried so many ways to convince them that I’m still competent here. The accident was just an ordinary accident. I even tried to convince the Directors. But I guess the words are already like wildfire. Uncontrollable. I guess I just have to wait for the time to come. Right after that day, my life is different. I see things. Things that are not supposed to be here. Walking among us, untouchable but present. I see some people in this office can see them too, but they can communicate with them. When I asked them about it, they said I’m already incurable and they don’t want to talk to someone that crazy as I am! I’m already beyond madness. That’s what they said. I wish I’m not taking extra time that day. I wish I could stay at home, watching tv, and eating food that I am bored of eating. I wish Gunarha didn’t ask me about that damn office blueprint. I wish. I wish I didn’t see that bright red being.”

Prologue

In the year 2022, the Moons - Helen & Romeo - once again clashed after thousands of years has passed under the night skies of Nüearth. The sea rises, lands submerges, the faunas behaved weirdly, and some creatures came out from their hidings at last. It's no longer be any ordinary day at Nüearth : no more mundane commute, no fancy lunch meetings, no stealing some puff of smoke at the rooftops, no more buying snacks in the middle of the night at a konbinistore. All creatures walks among the humans on the top crust of the Nüearth. It will be a brand new life.

Part 1: The Building

January 4th 2023 A.C. - four day after the clash of Helen & Romeo, a mega earthquake happens all over Nüearth. Casualties and damages couldn't be avoided, economy plummeted to the ground, chaos happens both on the streets and inside houses. All the three nations suffers from the disasters that happens only for five minutes but delivers a handful of power. Some said it was the Wrath of The Kame-kami. Some said it was the Solomon's Right works. Some were too tired and too hungry to think about the conspiracies.

At the Utara Nation, a huge cracks opened directly at the Business District, claiming hundreds to thousands of offices, firms and small joint ventures as their casualties. As trying to divide the area into two, the cracks left untouched by the Utara Nation's Ministry of Defence - leaving a big gap of unknown darkness lurks beneath it.

On the next day, a megastructure erected at the middle section of Utara Nation's Business District - right at the middle of the gap. Supported by a towering grounds from the darkness below, the structure stood proudly. No one claims seeing any works of constructions or whatsoever for the building. The words spread fast like a bullet - a building stood at the middle of the chasm, covered with windows and reflectives. It has twelve floors, and basement would be impossible with that kind of land support. At the top of the structure, a visible neon sign shine bright, brighter than any company logos all across the district. Its read "Office23".

Part 2: The Rumours

Seeing this opportunity, Utara Nation's Ministry of Transportation decided to establish a bridge that connecting the divided land. By utilizing the towering grounds that supports the megastructure, both lands now connected - while the megastructure itself acting like a rest area for those who walks to and fro the Business District.

At first, people amazed by its appearance and how it appeared by night. When it shined by the sun above, the exterior reflects it into a glimmering lights. When the night appeared, the neon lights from surrounded buildings reflected beautifully - flickering, waiving and colorful. Making it like the building was moving by itself, moving independently floor by floor, side by side. Almost like a peristaltic movement.

But under the glimmering mirror at the exterior, many claims upleasant things came from the structure. Some said they smelled an awful pungent odor creeping from inside. Some said they heard rustlings and banging and some even claims they heard screams and growls from inside the building. No one ever saw a person or a creature ever enter the building - as if the building itself was locked shut. Like barricading themselves for unwanted visitors.

Part 3: Shields

Utara Nation's Ministry of Defence took some action regarding this megastructure. After receiving a lot of claims from the civilians which mainly catagorized as "disturbance", a small team was dispatched to investigate the inside of the building.

Led by Col. Yoosuf "Shields" Syndock, a cleanse team of twelve enter the building on February 10th 2023 A.C.. Initiated as "Search and Investigate" mission, the team were made of a number of scientists along with Shields and his teams. The main tasks were:

- Eradicate the foul smells that came from inside the building;
- mitigate the source of the bangings and rustlings from inside the building;
- investigate, mitigate (and if necessary help) the source of the screams and growls from inside the building.

The mission was intended to be an in-and-out mission that only last less than twelve hours, with or without fulfill all three tasks above. Fourty eight hours has later, Shields and his team hasn't came back yet. Three days later, they were considered as missing in action, and the Ministry of Defence dispatched a rescue team to retrieve Shields and teammates. This rescue team was also considered missing in  action after three days later. In total, The Ministry dispatched three rescue team, but none of them were able pull it out.

On March 12th 2023 A.C., Shields was found outside the Office23 by a civilian while doing their early commute. They claimed that they found Shields lies on the ground, faced-down and not moving. His armor covered with scratches, scrapes, dents, slimes, chunk of meats and bloods. When ER Responds Team arrived and making some procedural actions to him, they found out the time of death was five days prior.

Part 4: Evidence

Amazed and confused with this phenomenon, Shields' body was autopsied while his full set of armor was taken to the laboratory of Ministry of Science to be examined thoroughly. Ministry of Defence cleared the permissions and things need to be done, both to Ministry of Science and Shields' family members.

At one point while the researcher observing Sheilds' cadaver, just like being fast forwarded through time, the organs and the body decays rapidly. In a mater of seconds, the fresh cadaver of Shields becomes a stenching lump of rotten meat.

Meanwhile at the Laboratory, the researchers carefully taking samples from Shields' armor as much as they could and conducting several different experiments with it. From the blood samples to the micro-est residue they could find on the scratches and dents. From many experiments they done, only one test that giving them results : blood test.

Alongside with Shields' teammate bloods, the deceased researchers and the rescue teams, they find some anomalies regarding the blood samples. First, the blood itself despite having the same colorization with any other samples, under the microscope the cells were mutated. Second, the mutated cells will become "aggresive" if contacted or stimulied with another different samples of blood (both humans and animals). The result was powerful enough to become an evidence. An evidence that there were another living being, living creature that different from humans and animals that lived inside the building of Office23.

After presenting the results to the Ministry of Defence and also the Federal Magistrate of Nüearth, megastructure Office23 was declared off-limit by the Nation. Civilians was inhibited to enter the premises in under any circumstances. Guards were placed on several possible entry points of the premises, with a permission to cease the trespasser. Night curfew was established around the buildings, not even a hobo was allowed to sleep at their entrance door.

Part 5: The Call

Once a week, a phone rings could be heard from inside the Office23. Always stopped at the third rings. One night, the rings stopped abruptly at the second ones.
